Your rights as a data subject

Collection of general information when you visit our website

Type and purpose of processing:

If you access our website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information, information of a general nature is collected automatically. Such information (server logfiles) contain, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain names of your internet service provider, your IP address and similar.

It is, in particular, processed for the following purposes:

Provision of the above-referenced personal data is prescribed neither by law nor contract. Without the IP address, however, the service and functionality of our website is not guaranteed. In addition, individual services may not be available or may be restricted. For these reasons, objections are excluded.

Type and purpose of processing:

Your data is exclusively used to email you the newsletter you are subscribed to. Your name is entered so that you can be addressed personally in the newsletter and, where applicable, for identification purposes, in case you want to assert your rights as data subject.

For receipt of the newsletter, entry of your email address is sufficient. If you subscribe to our newsletter, the data provided by you will be used exclusively for these purposes. For effective registration, we require a valid email address. To check that registration is actually carried out by the owner of the email address, we use a “double opt-in” process. Additionally, we record order of the newsletter, dispatch of the confirmation email and receipt of the reply requested in that email. No further data is collected. Data is used exclusively to dispatch the newsletter and is not forwarded to third parties.

Legal basis:

On the basis of the consent you have expressly given (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), on a regular basis, we send you our newsletter or comparable information to the email address you provided.

You can withdraw your consent to storage of your personal data and its use for dispatch of the newsletter at any time with future effect. Each newsletter provides the relevant link for this purpose. Besides this, you can cancel directly on this website at any time or you can inform us of your cancellation using the contact details provided at the end of this Data Protection Policy.

The data you provide is stored for the purpose of individual communication with you. For this, entry of a valid email address and your name and telephone number is required. These serve to assign your enquiry and the subsequent response. Entry of further data is optional.

Legal basis:

Processing of the data provided in the contact form is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

By providing this contact form, we want to enable you to make contact easily. The information you provide is stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for follow-up questions.

Where you make contact with us to request a quotation, processing of the data entered in the contact form is used to implement pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Storage period:

Data is deleted, at the latest, 6 months after processing of the enquiry.

Where no contractual relationship is established, we are subject to the statutory data storage periods according to the German Commercial Code (“HGB”) and delete your data upon expiry of these periods.

Provision of your personal data is on a voluntary basis. We can, however, only process your enquiry where you provide your name, your email address and the reason for your enquiry.

 

Use of Bing Maps

 

Type and purpose of processing:

This website further uses offers from Bing Maps to display maps and to create route maps. Bing Maps is operated by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA, Universal Business Identifier: 600 413 485, Authorised representative: Benjamin O. Orndorff. Embedded YouTube videos

 

Type and purpose of processing:

We embed YouTube videos on some of our web pages. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (hereinafter, “YouTube”). If you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection will be established with the YouTube server. This includes notifying YouTube of which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account in advance.

If a YouTube video is launched, the provider uses cookies, which collect indications of user behaviour.

The legal basis for the integration of YouTube and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Recipients:

Viewing YouTube automatically triggers a connection to Google.

Storage period and withdrawal of consent:

If the user has deactivated storage of cookies for the Google Ads program, the user will not have to contend with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal user information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you need to block storage of cookies in the browser.
